The DiverCity project aims to address inequalities in access to culture and also to reflect about the museological methodologies and to rethink them in order to make them more inclusive. This reflection is made according to different thematic approaches - gender, age, diversity.
The IO5 was designed specifically to focus on these inequities according to a gender perspective. The participating organizations of this output were the UCM - Complutense University of Madrid and the Youth Network for Gender Equality (Rede de Jovens para a Igualdade) and, both organizations approaches (first, a university, the second, a non-governmental organization) were very diverse and diferent from each other. Both of them decided to work with women from different social and cultural groups, locals and migrants of different ethnicities and backgrounds, with mental health issues, and more!
